Freak the Mighty

With the end of iLeap and Leap testing, we are free to begin our novel Freak the Mighty.  I intend on using my vodcast to introduce the book as well as have students write something about their best friend.  I am so excited about beginning this novel as it is one of my favorites.  After we finish reading the book, I plan on showing my students the movie and have them complete a Venn diagram comparing and contrasting the book to the movie.  Not only did I enjoy the book, but I felt the movie did the book justice.
